Ghana National Fireplace Services has questioned Ghanaians to swap off all electrical gadgets prior to leaving home and the workplace to reduce energy induced fire outbreaks.
Officers of the Ministries’ Hearth Station on Thursday produced the enchantment when they visited the ministerial enclave in Accra to share with employees some fire security guidelines to mark the celebration of this year’s fireplace protection 7 days themed, “Switch off all electrical gadgets prior to leaving property, workplaces and shops”.
The hearth officers engaged personnel of the Ministry of Gender and Small children Affairs, Office environment of the Lawyer Normal and Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Youth and Sporting activities, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations on the most effective methods to maintain their workplaces and residences harmless from fireplace.
Ms Naomi Ofori-Adubea, Divisional Officer Grade Just one (DO1) at the Ministries’ Hearth Station, reported the instruction fell in line with their mandate to develop and sustain recognition on the dangers of fires to the Ghanaian populace.
She urged all to make a conscious effort to swap off all electrical gadgets just before leaving their properties and workplaces, stating “fire protection is a shared obligation so every and each individual a single have to be hearth aware.”
