Warwick High School teacher named Pa. Exemplary Computer Science Educator | Local News

A Warwick Superior University math and know-how instructor was named this year’s Exemplary Computer system Science Educator in Pennsylvania for his contributions to expanding the pc science discipline for all college students.

Jeffrey Wile gained the award at the 2022 #CSForAllPA Summit in late June. He was selected from a pool of a few finalists, which bundled Heather Hedderman of the Wattsburg Space University District and Elizabeth Woods of the Indiana Area School District, according to a Warwick School District information launch.

All three finalists spoke as part of a panel talking about their operate in advancing pc science prospects inside their respective districts and communities. Wile, for instance, began a new regional Personal computer Science Teacher Association chapter that aided pc science teachers join to find out with each other and from just about every other.

“Reflecting about the previous several yrs, I am thrilled with how significantly our computer system science application at Warwick has developed and how Warwick pupils have taken gain to learn computing capabilities in my classroom,” Wile explained in the news release.
